I always want to have such mini wolrd! I think it has to be delicious to turn the world with your hands round and round! Thanks for remind me of this wish of me. Have a great day!
Je regarde toujours la terre en réduction comme toi. Qaund j'étais enfant, je fermais les yeux, la faisait tourner et pointait du doigt le pays où je devais aller, en rêve.
Isn't it amazing how little our world really is, yet how much it is filled with beauty and lovely people. I adore your photos on this blog! They are so captivating.
Great Photo! I love globes...It seems they are becoming a trend in decor too. I wish sometimes it were smaller so I could travel easier! Love all your work! Andrea
Oh Elisabelle, it was just yesterday that I was sitting in my room nearly in tears at the thought that there are so many stories yet to be heard in this world. Your photo makes my heart happy because yes, it is a small world after all.
i had an old globe that i gave away when i moved to israel. now the boys are crazy about globes (especially google earth :) and i so wish i had kept it. but then again: not having it uis a perfect excuse for some flea market hunting in denmark this summer...
what a beautiful photo of globe!=) I used to have one too when I was little. I guess I still have it, but I just have no idea where it is. It's lovely to spend time watching at it and dreaming of all the places I would love to visit:)

What a wonderful way to explore, I used to do this with my father when I was a little girl. A lovely memory. Dream on...
... j'adore cet objet, je le trouve toujours poétique et enivrant!

j'ai toujours eu un faible pour les mappemondes et les voyages lumineux et immobiles...
bonne semaine

THe quintessential miniature world!
The world is our oyster - we should explore together.
Every house should have a globe to see the world.
small world.
:)
small world.

Your pictures make it so easy to dream...
Une mappemonde et nos rêves sont prêts à s'envoler au gré du hasard, c'est aussi un de nos moments préférés avec les enfants...

A good visual reminder of the interconnectedness of us all!
Oh j'adore ces mappemondes lumineuses!
Elles font rêver!
Do you ever spin the globe and say, 'I'll go where my finger lands,' and when you see where it lands, say, 'Perhaps not. I'll try again'?
J'aime beaucoup! :)
j'aime...
