We always need some Gainsbourg around. Solal started to sing this one when he was 5.
He came back home 3 hours ago. I can't wait to rush out of the studio to see him....

Diana mini: second roll

So I got my second roll of Diana Mini back.... And I have to say that I am a bit disappointed.
I loved so much the double exposures on the first one, that I used them far too much.The consequence is that a bunch of photos are overexposed.
I agree with Dalva, the lack of control on this camera can be frustrating. But still... I like the feeling of not knowing exactly how it is going to turn out.
The roll got stuck and I had to rewind it a bit to start over again a few times, and these photos, accidental diptychs, are my favorites (first and last ones of this set).

Talking about favorites... The post of Hannah made me smile today. Your favorites are not always mine.
As I confessed to Marion, sometimes the photo that gets a lot of kudos is the one that I hesitated to post.
What does it say about me? Probably that I have no hindsight on my images.

One thing is sure though: blogging, sharing my photos, seeing yours make me wonder, think and evolve constantly. Thank you so much for your comments and feedback and for the inspiration I get from your blogs.

Some strangers in les Buttes Chaumont: accidental picture, I saw them and had my camera in hand.
I'll pick up my second roll of Diana Mini tonight. I can't wait. The first one might have been la chance du débutant.

Two years ago, a friend gave me this album. It has been created by one of fonders of Gotan Project!!! My favorite piece is dancing queen:) How cool is it to call a band Solal? The most beautiful name ever, en toute objectivité bien sûr!

Random yellow and Caramel

I have been drawn to yellow lately.
I met Kenza today and the beautiful smiling Caramelo. We had a great time! I can't believe how wonderful our blog world is!

Une diva

I went to see a play yesterday night.
I was there long before, sad because David did not make it to Saint Michel. I had an annoying phone call from a friend who told me that things were only going to get worse.... Not exactly what I needed to hear....
I drank a glass of wine in a café and went for a walk along the banks.... I took a few shots.
Then, it was time for the play.... Amazing, so moving. I could not find the words at the end of the performance.
Bravo and thank you Marie!!!! I hope you guys are going to win the Molière Award on Sunday!
I went back to welcome home Sweet Peanut for her last night in Paris. We sat on the sofa and chatted for a little while. I am so happy for her but I miss her already.
