Today is mother's day in France. These photos were taken by my grand father when my mum was younger than my son. Isn't she cute?

Si cette inclination pour la photographie n'est que relativement récente pour moi, elle existe depuis longtemps dans la famille. Mon grand père était photographe amateur passionné. Il avait sa propre chambre noire dans sa maison en Bretagne. Il y a un petit quelque chose de Doisneau dans la photo sur les bancs de classe, non?

Un samedi (presque) à la campagne

When you live in Paris, you never leave the city. So it has been a while since we've been to Marie and Alberto's. We spent some time yesterday with the beautiful family and had the feeling, just a few kilometers from Paris to be in a provincial town: une parenthèse printanière enchantée.

A Châtillon, tout pas loin de Paris, un papa italien, une maman française et 2 adorables petits bouts de femme nous ont acceuilli hier.
Leur maison a plein de recoins merveilleux et une lumière magique...
Marie a commencé à créer des bijoux fantastiques: mélange de matières et d'histoires. Ils sont indescriptibles, mais j'espère qu'elle en fera profiter la blogosphère très bientôt! Et pendant qu'on papotait, Alby a préparé un risotto à tomber: trévise rouge et lanières de mortadelle.
On est parti trop tôt parce que le chemin est long entre chez eux et notre nord est parisien, mais on est parti chargé d'images, de douceur et de saveurs.
