I hear the rain tapping on the shutters...

David is leaving tomorrow for two weeks to Israel. We wish we could go with him but work and school are keeping us in Paris.
We wanted to make the most of this evening: we had champagne and blinis before dinner. Then, some of his favorites: spinach and cheese bricks and corn salad with smoked duck breast and soft-boiled egg.
So good....

What a wonderful send off before a trip. The weather (I love rain), the food, the family...all good things together. xo

And wow...the reflection in the wine glass - magnificent!
