L'heure bleue

These are from the first roll of the Minolta. It is emotional to use this camera. My grand father passed away when I was a little girl, he was living in Brittany (1000 kilometers away from Marseille), so I did not get to know him well. This camera feels like a bond between him and me.

Days are supposed to get longer, but it gets darker every morning.
The light was lovely when I went through the Parc de Belleville last week: une heure bleue.

C'est très émouvant cette histoire... Placer ton oeil où il a placé le sien, dans l'espoir de voir, de cerner quelque chose, de capturer une image... Mais qui y avait-il en face ? Peut-être toi...

I understand your feeling. It's the same for me while playing with the violin of my grandfather!
Moreover, the pictures are really nice.

The atmosphere is unbelievable. No winter here without snow, I would have liked to experience a green, wet and foggy winter, just once.

That bond between you and your grandfather, through the Minolta, is magical. I know, I too have an old family-camera, but it's a Nikon. I miss using it; I should, very soon.

Hugs
Lilli

dear sweet elisabelle...
i thought i recognized the area...
i was sitting in that parc, i was walking the area of belleville, oh, for hours, last summer, in july, it was hot, hot, hot.
there were tai chi would-be's in the parc, and there was a lovely, creative shop tucked away in the corner of belleville, before i stumbled upon the church again, and that bakery, with a queue as long as my arm, outstretched...
que j'aime la ville, quand-même, even if i'm a sucker for london, really...
thank you.
