Lu
These are the hands of someone we miss very much. She left Paris 5 months ago, and not a day goes by without us thinking of her. Even though we would have loved to keep her with us, we mostly feel lucky that she has been during 4 years a part of our daily life. She is forever our Mary Poppins and a member of our family.
Her name is Luana, but I know her heart melts when Solal calls her « Lu »

The first part of Ane Brun was performed by one of her musician, a truly amazing artist: Linnea Olsson.
By the way, I am pretty sure that my French pronunciation of Ane Brun is not correct. If a Norwegian reader could let me know how to pronounce it, it would be much appreciated.

La magicienne
Thank you for all your messages! The concert was magic. She is bewitching and her voice is so pure...
We were not allowed to photos, I took a few "en douce" as a personal souvenir. But I just wanted to be in the moment anyway, enjoying the rare grace rather than being behind my camera.
I am listening to her new album right now, and will probably all day, all week.

My last birthday was exactly 11 months ago today.

New camera
Alma has a talent for presents. She does not need a reason or an occasion to find the most perfect gifts.
The last time she came home for tea, she offered me this old Kodak camera that you can see on the second photo. Isn't it beautiful? I can't wait to try it!

Les touristes
Le samedi, Solal et moi jouons aux touristes. On se ballade dans notre ville et c'est drôlement chouette. La semaine dernière on a déjeuné en face des sculptures de Niki de Saint-Phalle dans la fontaine Stravinsky.
Solal and I wander in Paris on Saturdays. These were taken last Saturday near by Beaubourg.
Tonight, it's her birthday party: can't wait!

Home lately
I don't write a lot lately as you might have noticed but things are a bit blurry for me right now.
Since we came back from the Alps, there have been a lot of changes, new challenges, difficulties. Nothing too serious, just troubling.
