Entre-ouverte

Do you sometimes wonder if you share too much of your personal life on your blog?

Here is another shot of Canon A-1.

Le morceau du jour: Isbells.

Yes, I have wondered if what I share is too much. I'm still not sure. Some days it feels a big scary world out there and others a friendly blissful one.

beautiful entryway!

yeah, sometimes i feel like i should leave out personal details on my blog...but when i think about it...it's my blog, and it's supposed to be like my own diary for me to document events, daily life etc.

if people don't care to read, it doesn't bother me one bit because i do it for me. :)

Not long ago I asked the same question on my blog….I hate the way the internet turns us all into egomaniacs!

Beautiful image!

Bonjour! ça va sous la neige?
Félicitations pour la belle Alice!
Hum... sharing too much. At times. I often find myself babbling away then erasing everything and leaving a one liner...
Elle est belle ta photo!
Bacio grande...

i think about that as well. i almost never feel that pictures show too much (i do not photograph people that often) but the text often makes me uncertain. usually it helps to read others blogs, then i sort of find out how much i want to know about other people...

I do. It's hard to find balance between sharing a bit and sharing too much. One of the things I do is posting about stuff after it's happened. Like, I might post my summer photos next week. That way it feels less of a "today I did this and that" kind of thing.

yes, it is a fine balance, isn't it? i love this glimpse out your window : )

and thank you for your kind and encouraging comments about my daughter... i am very proud of her.

yes, it's such a fine line. i think it really is what you feel comfortable with at any given time. - if you ask me, i love the way your blog is so honest and personal.

Yes, sometimes... I like the view from your window, when I look out from my is all white... :-) M

Looking out from inside rather than the other way around reveals less, Elisabelle. To me blogging is the other way around - from the outside in - but however revelatory, the view is always limited.

i have another site that is more of a family blog. it was morphed from my first blog where i used our actual names. now, i use a childhood nickname for my own (that my family still calls me today), and first initials for my fiance and daughter. i do worry about how much i share. and yet, i've made some amazing connections as well because of the writing.

(this photo is beautiful. i want to be in front of this window).

I have that feeling, but I try not to divulge everything about my day to day life.:)

that shot is beautiful.

I'm still thinking about this one.....but I never do think this of someone else's blog though. I am often humbled by their stories and think they're probably more secure about their insecurities than I am :)
