Brunch

When I was 13, I was listening to Sarah Vaughan every morning before going to school. If I had just one CD, it would be this one. My father gave it to me because I couldn't stop listening to it and I have never stopped since then. Here is my favorite voice ever.
Is there a CD you have been listening to forever?

I probably don't, except that now my kids are listening to the songs I haven't played in 30 years, and so it feels like I've listened to those songs forever! Happy weekend!

I have always loved that song.

Hmm if i had just one, it would be The antonia carlos jobim songbook, anything bossa nova really. I don't listen to it everyday but when it plays, it feels like a good friend who has never left.

I grew up with my dad listening to Swedish Bo Kaspers Orchestra, and now I find myself listening more to it than him! We happened to see them live on a warm summer's evening a few years ago, which really brought the circle together wonderfully :) Seeing them again live on my own on another festival later, it was surely something missing; him.

Ah oui Sarah...

An American in Paris, Rhapsody in blue, Porgy and Bess que j'ai vu à Londres il y a peu.
Bon we, dear!

Yup, Yo-Yo Ma's unaccompanied Bach cello suite. The whole album has about 3 CDs and I probably played them all at least 100 times already.

Her voice is so rich and deep. I sometimes listen to her when I go to bed.

I find myself always go back to "Grace" by Jeff Buckley, and I even have it tattooed on my arm. Bless him.
