A country house

Kodak Ektar 100

This is the country house we stayed in this weekend. Dreamy, isn't it? Unfortunately, I have only half of the shots I took: you won’t see our dreamy breakfast underneath the trees.

I wanted to try again the Canon A-1. The first rolls have been disappointing.
I understood recently that the settings of the camera were not good. I fixed it, but this time half of the roll was completely blank (which never happened before).
Did it ever happen to you? I know I did not open the camera before rewinding completely the roll.
Any clue or advice on this camera is welcome!

These are lovely, but such a shame for you some didn't work out :(
I am still struggling with my canon….and with ascension looming with a 4 day break/lots of things going on, I may ditch it for Mr Reliable Praktica!!

Hopefully it was a one-time film manufacturing defect. These photos are lovely. It looks like a beautiful house for laughter and relaxation.

oh my gosh these photos are so beautiful... i am just in love with them! in love!

sorry for your troubles with the camera. i have trouble with the canon A1 (the meter is off) but i still use it now and again. i have lost rolls of film before but usually by my own error.

what a peaceful place. i love your impressions.

regarding the film mystery: is the last frame that you have showing multiple exposures? then maybe the film didn't transport fully? which doesn't necessarily have to do with the camera, i guess, it could also mean that the film got stuck in the capsule half-way through. so sad anyway.

pretty bicycle and sandals! looks like summer is on it's way, how exciting : ).

also, i'm having a reaaally hard time with the canon ae-1. it's completely opposite from the pentax, no?

not sure why the rolls were blank, hopefully it gets fixed : ( sorry.

love these shots though, beautiful.
