I haven’t tried the 200 before, but I really like the feel of these. It’s such a nice place to take pictures from. My obsession is taking pictures of the same view from my balcony. I love the way the light changes throughout the day and capturing the sunsets. I never tire of it. Have a lovely weekend.
Quite sure! I live quite near of the old part of the city, and love to walk with the camera, rediscovering same places, same faces...trying to catch people (trying)...now with B&W film...hope to finish in some weeks... Enjoy weekend!
Love your photography, as always. The feel of them is so soft and intimate. Nice!
As for returning subjects in my pictures: Well, my children obviously. But other than that I notice I am drawn towards those places in the house where the sun rays drop in and leave beautiful shades of gold on the walls and furniture.
I have to disagree with you; sorry! I think these muted tones and more subtle colours are utterly beautiful. Superia 200 is my everyday film of choice, I find it very calming. Sometimes the intensity of colour here is overwhelming and I love the way it records it quietly. Does that make sense? Peut-être que ce serait mieux éxprimé en français!!
je les trouvent superbes ces photos et pour l'obession de la fenêtre si j'avais un si belle environnement moi aussi je ferais comme toi plus de photos de la fenêtre!
i'm jealous, in a good way. i wish i could have a beautiful window, full of tiny flowers just like yours, to sit and read while breathing some parisienne fresh air. i'm sure i would take a lot of pictures, just like you use to.
Yes, and when we first moved into this house that is all I did - and still do from time to time. The weather, as well as time of day, changes the scenery ...and when one has a balcony window in Paris, it is mandatory or else a sin if you don't take photos from there! :^)
I'd do the same if I had a window like that :-) I was once told to never use films with ISO 200 but always stick with 100, 160, 400 or higher, I can't remember why though?
Yes, I do have such obsessions -- my kitchen window, food on my kitchen table, my mason jars...sometimes my bay window. Oh, and every time we vacation I photograph my husband napping. I am quite fond of your window photographs.
i'm with ida - i would, if i had such a beautiful window!
i think my obsession is probably my blue sofa, without me wanting it to be. it just somehow sneaks into a lot of my pictures...
p.s.: i love the paleness of the colours, but i see what you mean. i think my favourite is a kodak 400 drugstore brand and slide at the moment. and agfa APX 100. oh, i can never decide!
I love this series, you're so lucky to have such a beautiful view from your home that continues to inspire you every day. The thing about windows - I suppose - is that although a window itself doesn't change much, what you see through it is so sensitive to the lighting, the time of day and the season that it is never quite the same scene twice. I guess that's why I love taking snaps at my dining room window.

just spent the past hour browsing through your beautiful photos of France... it's making me desperate to visit again.
my bedroom view... buildings... sunsets... sunrises...

I love that 7th photo so so much!!
Beautiful photos. A magical mood.
I've tried some expired Superia 200 and I didn't like them either, but I love the 400. I bought some yesterday for my trip!
PS: try shooting the 200s in 400. I did that once on a sunny day and it turned out quite nicely.
The darker your pictures are , the more I love them

Je fais souvent des photos à partir de la fenêtre de ma cuisine pour "fixer" les ambiances changeantes de la journée et des saisons...
Belle journée,
Pierre
