Les Fonts

Yesterday we went for a walk on le Pont Neuf and went through le marché des fleurs. I came back home with two new succulents.
I promise that Paris photos will come back eventually. But I have so many more to show you from the Alps.

Les Fonds has been one of my favorite place. We went back there a few times. These are the Minolta shots, I took some with the Zenit too.

I came down with a cold. Paris pollution does not agree with me. I should go back to les Fonds.
When I have a cold, the only things I want to eat are soup and cake. Though I heard that sweet things worsen the cold.
What are your cravings when you are sick?

Je ne connaissais pas cet endroit... C'est sublime ! J'aime particulièrement la dernière photo et ce linge qui sèche perdu au milieu de l'immensité. Merci.

more beautiful photos from the alpes!
the last one with the laundry touches my heart*

when i'm sick i crave freshly squeezed orange juice and some toasted bread with butter. that's what my mom made me for breakfest everytime i got sick, as a kid. it's still my favourite :)

wow. look at all those shades of green.

I crave all kind of wrong things. not sure about sweet stuff being bad, what I know is that you have to drink lots of fluids (and that I don't drink enough) when you're ill.

Wow, I would absolutely LOVE to spend a couple of days someplace like that.. away from everything. Just you and nature. So nice.

Green, rolling hills and high mountains... le sigh. Your photos of this scene is compelling and my favorite would have to be the last. It looks like three crosses with laundry.

I hope that you are feeling better soon. For me? Hot tea and the bed.

Bises,
Genie

love the soft colors in these photos, but so sorry you have a cold. soup (chicken) is always good, but also thyme tea (it helps with sinus congestion and bronchial spasms.) if you want to try it, here's the recipe:

1 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon dried thyme
honey, to taste.

steep dried thyme in boiling water for 10 minutes. strain and add honey to taste. (it tastes a bit medicinal, but not too bad.) you can drink up to three cups per day.

hope you feel better, soon!

these have a feeling of vintage postcards; wonderful!
I am sorry you are unwell, I have never heard that sweet things are bad for a cold, is that true? I reckon you should have whatever it is you are craving….just so long as it isn't les clopes!

hope you are better soon x
