Puy Aillaud

Can I be honest? When I first picked up the photos of the Alps, I was disappointed. To be thruthful, I am often disapointed, I always expect more of myself, which might be a good thing or not...
But as far as the Alps are concerned, I think my photos are very classic. On the other hand, I am not sure that I could have had a different point of view. Does the majesty of the mountains take over creativity?
Do you have the same feeling from time to time?

I have to say that I find your photos stunning...I've always loved the mountains! I do know where you are coming from though with feeling dissatisfaction...I find that is often the case with myself, but it serves to help push me to do better.

I often have the same feeling and sometimes have to leave shots and return to them weeks or months later to get a different perspective.

But I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, it's good to push ourselves :)

I too recognise the feeling of losing creativity in great landscapes. I had this the whole time in France, my head was empty, which on the other hand was a good thing.

But still, I like your photos. :)

Classiques tes photos ? sans doute, mais j'y retrouve les "vraies" couleurs des montagnes !!! et c'est magnifique...

Had the same problem some days ago - it weren't even mountains, rather hills. But I was so impressed by the width and the view that that somehow seemed to block my "eye"...

But nevertheless, I think you can really be satisfied with the result of your pictures! They so look like summer in the mountains...

I have at times felt unable to improve on the majesty of certain landscapes.
