Cozy Sunday

We spent a cozy quiet Sunday at home. It was snowing so much outside...
We watched a movie.

Can't wait to head to Marseille on Friday and meet Alice at last!

There is a new post at words to shoot by!

Grain

Thank you for your comments on the B&W shots! There are more to come. Meanwhile, I had the results back of the Fuji 800 roll that was in the Canon A-1: they are not conclusive. They are awfully grainy, underexposed.

I recently realized that this blog had passed its 500th post.
Here is the first one on June 7, 2008. Not so long ago, but blogging became such a big part of my life that sometimes it seems that I have done it for ever!
At one point, I hid the archives because I had the feeling that my photos had evolved so much that I did not want anybody to see the first posts. Looking back, I don't see what I was so ashamed of.
So the archives are back if anyone wants to have a look....

November 29

You know what? I got everything done...When I came back home on Friday, I was frantic and wanted to do everything straightaway. After a lot of sports and efforts, this first diner ended up by a pizza party (Merci Anne et Thomas: c'est promis la prochaine fois je vous prépare un petit menu mitonné d'enfer;))

It was great to wake up Saturday morning in a brand new home. Solal's bedroom is so much better: he has much more space and can enjoy the window light at his desk. He is probably going to spend much more time at it now... So far, school has been really easy for him and some time even a bit boring. On Friday, he will move to the upper level. I think it was the right thing to do, so did the teachers. He is proud (so am I) and a little anxious too.

The rest of the weekend was swell. The brunch became a huge brainstorming with my partner in crime about future photo collaborations (more to come). And the yesterday diner was "très arrosé"!

Shorter days

The days are so short and so gray....
Comfort tea, brioche, soft light and friends to warm up this gloomy autumn.

There is a new publication at Words To Shoot By!

I discovered this song through Le Patron's blog. Isn't it beautiful?

My secret mission is to find a green orange in les Buttes Chaumont.
No luck so far but a few images on my way.
Did I share this song before?

End of the day

Have you ever visited (not) common people? This blog is a wonderful source of inspiration. It is celebrating its one year anniversary today.

About inspiration, I added some new photos on my pinboard.

I am currently listening to this.....

October 11

Francesca suggested that I put all my music recommendations in a list.
It's not complete yet, but here it is.
You can access it in the side bar too.

This is what I am into lately.

Night shots

Dinner with friends at home and first night shots with the new camera.
I like soft lights, so I was afraid the photos would be very dark, but they did not turn out too bad (I use 400 film). I am still experimenting here.
I am so happy to leave in a few weeks. I really feel like I don't feel very inspired lately.

Happy Birthday la Marseillaise!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Marion!!!!

She is the first blog friend I met in real life!!!

Her blog is a constant source of inspiration! She is sweet, pertinent, funny and so cute. She takes great photos with Georges. She made me discover Oh!Tiger Mountain (I love la tradition dominicale!). And cherry on the cake, she is marseillaise!!!!
