You take these wonderful shots of food, Elisabelle and now I'm hungry.

It's just past midnight here and far too early for breakfast and too late for dinner. I'll have to wait till the morning.

Dear all,
Thank you!!

Dear Leslie & Marion,
here is the recipe (sorry for the poor english)

- 500 g of strawberries
- a lemon juice
- 4 eggs
- 250 g of mascarpone
- 4 soupspoons of sugar
- 12 sponge fingers

Put first the sponge fingers in a dish.
Mix the strawberries with the lemon and a spoon of sugar. And put them on the sponge fingers.

Whip the yellow of the eggs with 3 spoons of sugars . Add the mascarpone to this blend.
Whisk the white of the eggs. And add them slowly to the blend.

Put it down on the strawberries.

Keep in the fridge for 2 hours.

you know what, that shallow depth of field in the top shot works a treat. so beautiful. lovely to see how well you and your new lens get on. so maybe the tears were leading to something happy in the end!
