Me, Myself and I

There is something so narcissistic about self portrait!!
Nonetheless, I love them, I love seeing others and taking mines.
This year has been tough ( we are only half way through it...) and I have the feeling that it shows on my face. For now, I like these thin wrinkles: evidences of each time I laughed and each time I cried.

Thank you so very much for your support: comments and emails.
Encore dans l'oeil du cyclone, mais j'essaie de reprendre pied.

I have been listening to this all day.

Hello you. I love your self portrait. This is how I feel about the latest I put up with myself pregnant at 20 weeks and my daughter Lola- I look exhausted and worn, frazzled from lack of the medication I usually take, but also strong and determined and with a reserve of love.
I see all this in you.

Vive le "me, myself and I"? The more the merrier don't you think? Well that is what I said to myself. We are only two you see...

A 20 ans j'en prenais plein... Aujourd'hui (bien plus tard) et avec un blog, j'ose plus. Mais les Rembrandt & co ne se gênaient pas eux, hé hé...
Nice to meet your wrinkles !

You have such a beautiful face Elisabelle, and I don't really see wrinkles at all - but a face with depth that could tell us many stories... glad to see you back. xoxo

Yes, I hope that the next half-year will be better than the first half, and that those lovely little lines will be more from laughing than from crying. You continue to be in my prayers. It's good to see your smiling face here in blog land!

I love the way you described the tiny lines. Such a beautiful perspective. I think I'll look at myself in the mirror in a new way now.

L'autoportrait comme un journal de bord... Pour garder en mémoire une image de soi en équilibre sur un instant, sur une émotion...

Well, I don't know you at all but I adore your self-portrait and hope things improve for you. Thank you for posting that song (I love your music suggestions). It's perfect for me right now.

I've just been reflecting on the signs of life and of time on my body. There are many ways to tell a story.
