Self

It feels always weird to publish self portraits. Ida expressed it much better than I could.

The office

Ilford HP5 400

Things are changing pretty quickly these days. My company will soon move and I will have new exciting and challenging responsibilities. I love changes, but I will miss the calm, the solitude, the soft light of my actual office. I am trying to make the most of it before I have to go.

Sunday

Fuji Superia 400
Involuntary double exposure on the first shot.

We are still in bed while Solal is playing with his beyblade tops.

My projects during July:
Try to find a system to file my films (any idea?)
Reorganizing the shelves and the administrative papers (I know: so exciting!)
Repaint some of the apartment walls (white, always white)
Restaurant and dinners with friends (most of our friends are in Paris in July: yay!!)
Try to work out a little (we'll see how it goes...)
Watch the 3rd season of "In Treatment" and the 2nd season of "Mad Men"
Cook stuffed peppers, strawberry or peach tiramisu, ratatouille and all my favorite summer recipes (maybe I'll even find some new ones).

Heard this old song this morning on the radio.

Kodak Ektar 100

The photo #3 of my hand was taken by Audrey. All the others were taken by me.

We have long time friends, who are now living in Dubai, for dinner tonight.... I don't know what to cook and the fridge is completely empty since we came back from Marseille yesterday night. Any last minute recipe you would care to share?

In the mood....

In the mood... for doing nothing, playing around with the computer. Next vacations are in August....
Pas envie de bosser, envie de glandouiller tout en jouant sur photobooth, envie de rentrer à la maison, de dormir, envie de cuisiner pour la p'tite bouffe entre potes de ce soir.
Suis pas follement productive aujourd'hui....

A new year

Thank you so much for your sweet messages.
I wish you all a wonderful, tender, sparkling and joyful year!!!

A very sweet boy sent me his wishes for the new year saying "que le meilleur de 2010 soit le pire de 2011" (may the best of 2010 be the worst of 2011). All I could reply was: "fingers crossed".
When I said to a Sweet Peanut, a few days before 2011, that I was looking forward this new year, this symbolic change, to leave this last year behind and move towards better days, she said that it was surprisingly optimistic of me. Indeed, my motto is "be prepared to the worst to welcome the best".
I am terribly realistic. Well... Am I? Or did life make me?

Whatever, I want to believe that we went through the most difficult ordeals and that this year will be much more peaceful. I want to be so very positive and want this positivity to affect our lives. Let's be merry, let's be silly, let's be carefree!!!!

One of David's favorite song.

Une année en images: mai 2010

Champagne, laughter and Polaroid expired films.
In May 2010, I listened to Jack the Ripper.
