oh all of this makes me want to cry a little - such beautiful food! living in iceland means very little access to fresh produce. the bread is ok here if you go to the right places, but nothing like the perfect bread available everywhere and cheaply in france. i would eat a loaf a day the years i was living there. i also worked for a year as a baker - so i have always been eating the best breads. ah i miss all that now... but thank you for this vicarious little food experience through your photographs :)

yummmm yes lots of salads with bread on my menu too currently :)
