On the summer way

It is completely crazy at work for me this week... Not much time to shoot anything new and so very busy that I am not very inspired.
I have been keeping these images for a while in a "train" file.
Except bank holidays, I have no days off until august. And since my last vacations were in december, it feels a bit long. I just like to look at them.
The first ones were on my way to the Alps. My parents have a place in le massif des écrins and I will spend one week there this summer. Such a peaceful place... Just thinking about it is relaxing....

Some music?

Our first real vacation this year will be in August as well. Quebec and Montreal. We cannot wait. Great photos. They remind me of how much I love to travel by train. Something to look forward to.

Love these photos. Travelling by train is such a fun way to travel, and I haven't done it in ages. We plan to do a lot of that soon.

I've had some beautiful experiences traveling by train. Your images are lovely depictions of train travel. Your summer week in the Alps seems like a really nice trip to dream about. Enjoy.

Ohhhh lovely ..just to sit and look outside. Is there something better? When the train is riding you leave everything behind you and you just sitting there and relax...hope you can do it soon!
Enjoy your picture dreaming.

There is lots to capture from the window of a train - visually, and emotionally. Hope your work glides by until August... xo, j.
