I won't let this weather tell me that it's not summer! We are having cocktails and stuffed peppers like we should in summer. Non mais....
By the way , the first two were taken at the same time than these ones but with the Minolta and a roll of Ektar 100. it's amazing to see the difference. Which tones do you prefer? I have to say that I have a big crush on Ektar.

I am so happy, because we started again our collaboration with Marie*: there is a new post at colors of the week.

Colors

Je sais que je vous parle souvent de colors, mais cette fois-ci, je vous montre ma complice: Marie*. Elle se cache derrière son lutin blond de fils, le meilleur ami du mien. Oui, oui, c'est même comme ça qu'on s'est rencontré: le premier jour de maternelle:)

J'adore notre travail avec Marie!!!!
C'est une pochette surprise ce blog! Notre seule contrainte: une couleur par jour et une interdiction: voir la photo de l'autre avant d'envoyer la sienne.
Ce qui donne jour à des associations complètement improbables, étonnantes et souvent captivantes (j'avais averti pour la modestie ;))
On a posté 16 diptyques hier ce sont mes 2 préférés (je crois... parce qu'il y en a beaucoup que j'aime)
J'ai entendu ça ce matin sur TSF jazz... Une madeleine. Les comédies musicales des années 50 ont bercé toute mon enfance grâce à mon papa. Et puis aujourd'hui à Paris c'est vraiment de circonstance; petit bulletin météo: il paraît qu'il va grêler cet après-midi!

The left photo is Marie's and the right is mine.
The association of the 2 images is so surprising most of the time: a real Cracker Jack!

Thank you so much for your amazing comments on our double self portrait! I do cherish that photo very much already. It will be a part of the prints I keep for Solal, that way he will not have to pinch from us his childhood photos like we all did (didn't you?).

Colors

Just a quick note, to let you know that Colors of the week is back.
Marie* had, and still has, computer issues, but she managed to send me the first images and hopefully she will send some more my way tomorrow.
I love to compose our diptychs, to discover marie*'s photo and to see how it works with mine.

Friday was yellow

Notre nouveau blog collectif est en ligne: Colors of the week. Une couleur par jour pour nos nouveaux diptyques: Marie* à gauche et moi à droite. Ce nouveau projet avec la fée* me rend vraiment heureuse: un nouveau souffle! La recherche de mon image, l’attente et la découverte de celle de mon amie ont rythmé et ensoleillé une semaine un peu triste.
Vendredi, le jaune me semblait impossible à trouver. Puis au hasard d’un rendez-vous professionnel, j’ai traversé le couloir jaune poussin d’un grand immeuble parisien baigné de lumière. J’ai reçu un petit coup de fil surprise de Sweet Peanut que j’ai retrouvé avec délice dans un café au comptoir jaune. J’ai rejoint mes hommes pour fêter Rosh Hashana. David avait acheté de grands tournesols pour sa soeur et j’ai pour la première fois chaussé mes souliers jaunes achetés cet été à Jaffa.
Vendredi était jaune!

Our new blog is on line: Colors of the week. One color a day for our new diptychs: Marie* on the left and me on the right I am so happy to have started this new project with la fée*: a new breath! To look for the right picture each day and to discover Marie’s have brightened up a pretty sad week.
Friday, yellow seemed impossible to find. And then…. I had an appointment in the afternoon and by chance, I crossed a luminous yellow corridor. Next, I received a surprise phone call from Sweet Peanut and joined her for a delicious moment in a café with a yellow bar. David bought sunflowers for his sister who was hosting Rosh Hashana seder this year. And I put on for the first time the lovely yellow shoes I bought this summer in Jaffa.
Friday was Yellow!
